MMUK MAN - EYEBROWS AND BEARD FILLER

I have worked with MMUK Man on many posts before such as their BB Cream, Concealers and Make Up and I had recently been gifted 2 items from them, this time, to help get my eyebrows into shape and my beard looking strong!

Being blonde and fair skinned, my eyebrows haven't always been the most prominent but having said that, I haven't exactly been one to take care of them either other than to pluck the odd hair out of its place. That being said, my facial hair is quite short as my hair is bleached so I find that these two can clash but, nevertheless, I was still keen to try this out for my facial hair!

  • Hi-Brow Shadow
  • Brush Ware / Brow Angle 15

To begin with, I used the Hi-Brow Shadow and applied this with my Brush. I often find that it is always best to begin with a small amount so that if anything goes wrong, it is easier to build it up rather than take it all off and start again! Once I was happy with the amount on my brush, I then began to glide the brush across my eyebrow, starting with the corner closest to my eye by going over it and making it appear thicker, whilst going lighter towards the end to really add more emphasis and definition on the arch. 

For my facial hair, again, I used a small amount and began to blend in the Hi-Brow Shadow with my facial hair and blended this in those pesky patchy areas! I was pleasantly surprised with how natural looking this was, and how it didn't appear too obvious that this had been 'coloured in'!

Overall, a great and nifty way of adding more definition to both your eyebrows and beard/facial hair and one that doesn't require a lot of effort either.

GLAMGLOW: SUPERMUD AND SUPERCLEANSE

As a fan of GlamGlow and all of their creative masks (Yes I'm talking about those My Little Pony Glitter Masks!) I was incredibly excited when a well put-together package with the Supermud range from GlamGlow arrived containing;

I had already heard good things about this range previously so I was keen to try this out for myself. The Supermud range helps to unclog and reduce the appearance of blocked pores and those pesky blackheads! The powerful activated X-Charcoal featured within the Treatment helps to draw out dirt, oil, congestion and other impurities. With this current heatwave that we're experiencing here in England, I had recently broken out with a spot or two so I was curious to see if this would live up to its hype...

I cleansed my face to begin with using the SuperCleanse which left my skins appearance looking a lot cleaner and I found that the cleanser didn't irritate my skin either. Once my skin had been cleansed, I then used the SuperMud Clearing Treatment and applied a thin layer of this onto my skin by using the mini GlamGlow brush. Whilst using this, you do only need a small amount to apply as it is quite dense and can feel a little heavy when on your skin.

Once it had been applied, a tingling sensation began but that just meant that the treatment was beginning to absorb all of the dirt and was working! When you first apply the Treatment, the colour of the mask is a dark grey, but as the Treatment starts to work you will begin to see that the colour becomes a lot lighter and you can feel the mask tightening! It advises you to leave this on between 5-20 minutes, but for me personally, I began to remove this around the 15-minute mark as I felt that the Treatment had worked enough for me to begin to see a difference. 

I then rinsed off the Treatment and could instantly feel that my skin felt a lot smoother, it appeared a lot clearer and the little spots/breakout I had had been visibly reduced! Overall, I loved this range; SuperMud but the only tiny teeny negative for me with regards to the treatment was that it smelt a little like liquorice which I cannot stand... But that's just a personal preference and we're talking about the actual functionality of the skincare product as opposed to a scent!

Here in England today marks Father's Day! (Sunday 17th June) and if you forgot today was Father's Day and if you haven't bought your Father a gift yet, then fear not! As I have the perfect idea for you.

The opening of Pour Homme begins with a blast of spiciness from the Pink Pepper note being the most prominent whilst having a fresh, citrusy feel to the fragrance with the light Neroli soon kicking in. As the fragrance begins to settle down, the scent shifts from being a spicy, fresh, citrusy scent to feeling more earthier and musky.

The overall feeling that I got from Pour Homme was that it was a well-rounded, strong fragrance that felt warm on my skin yet still had a fresh, light feeling to it with the citrusy notes! Pour Homme lasted an impressive 6-7 hours on my skin and I gained a few compliments from having worn this, and I will admit, there were a few surprises when I revealed it was indeed Michael Bublé's fragrance!

I too was also surprised as when I have tried 'celebrity' fragrances before, they've all felt a little generic and as though they could all be repackaged differently just with the same fragrance... Talking of packaging, I love how slick the bottle looks with the midnight blue colour which took inspiration from the classic microphone with its sharp and defined lines across the bottle.

In terms of the sillage, I found it to be medium-heavy and I would recommend wearing Pour Homme late evening going into the night. Especially with the warmer Summer nights really highlighting the notes within this fragrance that project the scent further!
