JO MALONE ENGLISH OAK & REDCURRANT
Taken from Jo Malone's newest Collection; English Oak, the English Oak & Redcurrant fragrance is the perfect transitional fragrance for Autumn!
- Top Note: Redcurrant
- Heart Note: Rose
- Base Note: Roasted Oak Absolute
English Oak & Redcurrant opens up with a sharp burst of the Redcurrant note which instantly feels fruity and rather sweet.
During the dry-down, I didn't get much of the Rose note within this fragrance, which had perhaps been overshadowed slightly by the boldness of the woody Roasted Oak note! The longevity of English Oak & Redcurrant lasted for up to 7 hours on my skin and the sillage was medium to heavy.
Compared to the other English Oak fragrance; English Oak & Hazelnut, they differ in that the Hazelnut scent is much more 'green' and earthy! My personal preference? The English Oak & Redcurrant! There is just something about the blend of the notes which creates a warm, cosy feeling which is ideal for the cold, Autumnal season!
