HARLEY STREET HAIR LOSS CLINIC

I had recently attended a meeting with Nadeem, the Creative Director of the Harley Street Hair Loss Clinic in London, to talk about hair loss, and why men shouldn't shy away from talking about this problem. Prior to my meeting at the Harley Street Hair Clinic, I will admit, my knowledge on hair transplants was very minimal!

Let's face it. At some point in our lives, we will all have come across a man who suffers from a receding hair line, or hair loss. Having trained as a beautician, and being experienced within the Beauty and Grooming Industry, I have noticed that for some reason, the age in which hair loss seems to begin, is getting younger and younger. Perhaps that is due to a generation change, where people are leading much more active and hectic lifestyles than before? Or perhaps, it is down to stress. Either way, I am here to inform you that getting a hair transplant, is not as daunting as you may think...

We began the meeting by going through various 'before and after' photographs of clients, and the one thing that struck me in the 'after' photos, was that the hairline looked so natural! Nadeem then used a camera upon my head to examine my hair closely, and the results showed up on screen. It was so interesting to see my scalp, and each hair follicle/strand up close! I was then given two blue shoe covers to wear, as we went through next door to witness a hair transplant taking place. (It felt so surreal!)

I was then introduced to Mike, a patient who allowed me to see the procedure being done, and I was immediately greeted by his head - which was rather bloody I might add! The hair transplant procedure happens by taking hair follicles from the back of your neck, or another area of your body, and are then placed into a small petri dish, in which will then be transferred into your scalp.

As I watched on, I couldn't help but be in awe of the whole procedure! A nurse will do the painstaking job of picking out each hair follicle from the petri dish, and then inserting the hair follicle into a small needle, which then places the hair onto the head. I asked Mike if there was any pain, and how he felt, and he answered that the only movement he could feel were the hands upon his head. Everything else, had been numbed by the local anaesthetic. I was told that this particular procedure would last all day, and that the results are permanent.

Famous clients that have used Harley Street Hair Loss Clinic before, are Wayne Rooney, and most recently, the vlogger Jonathan Saccone Joly! Nadeem informed me that the clinic will be moving to bigger premises soon, so that clients are able to have more room and downtime after their procedures. I was then very lucky to have been gifted with many shampoos and haircare products, and I cannot wait to try them out! Don't worry, I will do a big blog post on all of these very soon..

After having witnessed a hair transplant taking place, and being told so much information on 'Hair Loss' and 'Hair Transplants' I can honestly say, that there is no reason to be embarrassed or shy in wanting to change your hairline! In today's society, we do live in a world where looking after your appearance does play a huge part in our day to day lives, and the stigma of getting a hair transplant is no longer.

Most clients choose Harley Street Hair Loss Clinic, because they know that the results they end up with, are second to none, and are left with permanent results. So if you are conscious of your hairline, and you feel you want to do something about it, I would advise you to do it properly! Visit the Harley Street Hair Loss Clinic website, and see why it remains the very best hair loss clinic in Britain!
